Situated alongside the banks of the Kalsa River in Chanfi village (near Nainital), Soulitude, as the name suggests, provides complete solitude for the soul. Mesmerised by the singing glacial stream as it flows through the deep valley, one can’t help but enter a completely different world … into the world of “Soulitude”.
A working organic farm, emerald green rock pools and waterfalls, exciting treks in a pristine remote setting, good food and warm hospitality … Soulitude has just the right ambience for rest, relaxation and fun. Soulitude is ideal for those looking to get away from the clutter of the city … to slow down … rejuvenate … and simply be!
Soulitude by the Riverside offers a bouquet of 7 rustic-style rooms with all the luxuries of a fine luxury resort. We hope that the Soulitude experience will be one that you will cherish and want to come back for more !
* Soulitude by the Riverside’s remote location ensures that the beauty of Nature is preserved in its pristine glory, unspoiled by humans. However, it is not suitable for people with accessibility issues or small children that are unable to comfortably undertake a 1.2 km (30 minute) trek to reach the property from the road-head. During rains, the alternate trek through the pine forests will entail a steep uphill climb for 30-45 minutes on the return journey.
“Peace & Tranquility, if that's what you are looking for”
As Michelangelo rightly said "My soul can find no staircase to Heaven unless it be through Earth's loveliness". And that's the first feeling you get when you see the gushing river, dense trees and majestic mountains.
“Peaceful retreat in the hills”
Soulitude is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Delhi for a week-end. The place is charming, the staff is helpful and kind and you are surrounded by greenery with the sound of the river in background.
Stunning….No Words can describe the place/property… Its a experience
Interiors are fantastic and very elegant. Very nicely designed room with transparent fibre roof. You can do sky gazing at night while lying on the bed. Washrooms need a special mention. With natural stones and waterfall with great interiors just makes the place a great place.
